allow users to select from a list of items, and quickly add common items - tools, childcare stuff, kitchenware, common electric tools, tools etc.

allow users to do actions by SMS
I'd like to be able to send an SMS saying "lent flight of the conchords dvd to john" to the site's phone number, and have it either happen on my account or appear as a memento.
this way I don't have to be next to the computer whenever I lend and borrow stuff, or remember to add stuff later.4 votes -
add public items and item lists
allow users to choose a privacy level of "public" for items, and create public anonymous listings ("http://www.traxtuff.com/listings/crazydave" for example) where anyone can see the public items.
this may add more items to the site, and make it more engaging for new users.
for instance, I may have some books I don't mind lending to people in the area. this way they can find these items by searching Traxtuff (even wthout logging in), and they can write me (my privacy is kept because this is internal messaging and they don't have to know the owner's details, just the listing… more3 votes -

allow importing stuff from Amazon
I would like to import my book list from amzon, and also get book details (picture and description) from there

add item pictures / add item pictures from google images
it would be nice if traxtuff would automatically search for item images on google images and allow choosing one from the top results - this would be very flexible, and item images are nice.

improve the existing facebook app or add new one
the existing facebook app isn't very useful at the moment, it can either be improved or replaced by something a bit more suave.
